- 10 almonds soaked overnight in enough water to cover
- Pinch ground cardamom
- Pinch of pepper
- 250ml warm water, milk or soya milk
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Drain the almonds, keep the soaking water and remove the skins. Blend the nuts with the soaking water, cardamom and pepper at high speed for 5 minutes. Combine this mixture with the warm milk, soya milk or water. Stir in the honey (optional) and drink at once.
Date Energy Drink (especially good during pregnancy)
- 2 Fresh black dates
- 2 blanched almonds
- ¼ teaspoon fennel seeds
- Seeds of 2 cardamom pods
Soak over night in ½ cup water/rice milk/almond milk. Blend in the morning and drink warm for breakfast.
